Delete Your Account

AuraFitz is developed by CodixoLabs Ltd. This page explains how to permanently delete your AuraFitz account and the personal data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the AuraFitz app:
- Open the AuraFitz app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the account section and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated data are then permanently deleted.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete it for you:
Use the subject line "AuraFitz Account Deletion Request". To verify ownership, please send the request from the email address registered to your account. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following from our systems:
- Account data — your name, email address, and user ID.
- Profile data — gender, date of birth, height, weight, fitness goals, and preferences.
- Health & fitness data — any steps, heart rate, sleep, distance, calories, and workout summaries stored in your account.
- Profile photo — any avatar image you uploaded.
- Progress & activity — session history, streaks, and in-app activity records.
- Notification tokens — device tokens used to send you push notifications.
All identifiable personal data is purged within 30 days of your request. Health and fitness data read from Apple Health or Google Health Connect remains on your own device and in those services — deleting your AuraFitz account does not affect it, and you can revoke AuraFitz's access at any time in your device's Health settings.
What data is kept
After deletion, we retain only:
- Anonymised analytics — aggregate usage data that cannot be linked back to you, retained to help us improve the service.
- Records required by law — any information we are legally obliged to keep, retained only for as long as the law requires and then deleted.
